Excluded Items:
The items excluded from coverage under this plan are as follows:
A. The maintenance services and related parts described as "Manufacturer's Recommended Maintenance"
B. Normal wear and tear items, maintenance services and parts including engine tune-up items (ie: spark plugs, ignition wires, distributor cap and rotor), EGR, batteries, filters, lubricants or fluids, air conditioning refrigerant, engine coolant, hoses and belts, brake pads and shoes, brake rotors and drums, suspension alignment, tires, wheel balancing, shock absorbers, exhaust system.
C. Glass, glass framework, fastening adhesives, sealed beams, light bulbs, lenses, trim, moldings, bright metal, chrome, upholstery, cloth, leather, viny, carpet, tile, countertops, wood, fiberglass,paint, sheet metal, body panels, structural,roof, leaks, frame work, welds and wiper blades.
D. Aftermarket accessories or non-original equipment, components and systems not installed by the manufacturer; examples include: motorcycle lifts, vehicle tow bars. The plan will not pay any costs incurred to improve operating performance as a result of normal wear and tear. This includes: Replacing standard TV's with HD TV's, valve grinding and/or piston ring replacement designed to improve engine compression or reduce oil consumption, and diminished performance due to normal wear and tear of suspension components. The plan will not repair, replace, adjust, or align a non-covered component unless its failure is caused by the breakdown of a covered part.
E. The normal life of a Plasma/LCD TV is considered 5 Years in an RV or any other mobile application. Plasma/LCD TV's with degraded picture quality are not considered a failure under the plan.
